The successful candidate will execute network operations, including configuration and analysis of customer circuits across optical and electro-optical multiplexers, routers, and switches. They will perform real-time circuit redesign to restore customer connectivity during outages and maintenance actions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing network operations to ensure maximum network availability
• Working with internal and external customers, government agencies, and engineering tiers to minimize mission and operational impact
• Proactively monitoring network alarms across platform-specific network management tools
• Performing change management tasks, such as hardware replacement, software configurations, and ASI management
• Utilizing incident management applications to document outages, degradations, isolations, escalations, and resolutions
• Assessing, identifying, and recommending resolutions to network incidents and deficiencies

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 per year, plus a Hawaii Cost-of-Living Allowance (COLA).

Basic qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift work environment
• Working knowledge of both Transport and IP network topologies
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance

Preferred qualifications include:

• Tech control facility or cyber transport experience
• Circuit actions and vendor experience
• IP/Transport architecture experience
• Solarwinds and JIRA experience
• Telco NOC, inside or outside plant experience
