YubHub-native raw fields carry `x-` prefix.","jobs":[{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","identifier":{"@type":"PropertyValue","name":"YubHub","value":"job_e1d31b61-334"},"title":"Medical Assistant - Float","description":"<p>We’re building a world of health around every individual , shaping a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience.</p>\n<p>The purpose of a Medical Assistant at Oak Street Health is to gather all necessary medical information regarding patients to ensure providers have the most accurate information available when making healthcare decisions.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure efficient patient flow; room patients in a timely manner, complete vital signs, complete required screenings and complete medication reviews</li>\n<li>Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms</li>\n<li>Respond to patient requests for telephonic support (Lab results, faxing records to specialists, etc.)</li>\n<li>In accordance with state regulations, MAs may administer vaccinations, perform point of care tests including but not limited to: A1C, spirometry, EKGs, blood draws for lab testing, etc.</li>\n<li>Import required documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload</li>\n<li>Participate in care team meetings to discuss patient care and clinic operations</li>\n<li>Process orders for durable medical equipment</li>\n<li>Request medical records from external providers as required by the provider</li>\n<li>Conduct routine quality control checks including infection control measures, equipment, and checks for expired medication and supplies and/or assist in maintaining center lab</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>State or national certification (as required by state), or graduation from an accredited medical assistant course</li>\n<li>1 year experience as a medical assistant</li>\n<li>CPR or BLS Certification</li>\n<li>Electronic Medical Record experience</li>\n<li>Computer skills: Ability to quickly navigate and use multiple computer programs to include, but not limited to: Gmail, MS Word or Google Docs, Excel or Google Sheets, etc.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in non-English languages as required by the center&#39;s demographics</li>\n<li>US work authorization</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<p>This full-time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the physical, emotional, and financial well-being of colleagues and their families.
