This team procures goods and services from a Major Supplier in support of all Boeing Defense Programs and offers a unique opportunity to support and enable operations across many areas of the Boeing Company. The procurement agent will execute and manage contracts for a variety of products and services that range in value and complexity.

Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 3:

• Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

Position Responsibilities - Senior Level 4:

• Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
• Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements
• Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions
• Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues
• Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
• Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• More than 3 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
• More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
• More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
• More than 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 3 years of experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
• More than 3 years of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold

Pay & Benefits:

• Summary pay range for Experienced Level 3: $94,350 - $116,550
• Summary pay range for Senior Level 4: $118,150 - $145,950
