You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.</p>\n<p>Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will also:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment, identifying and resolving any potential issues before they cause disruptions</li>\n<li>Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, diagnose the problem, and perform repairs or coordinate with external specialists when necessary</li>\n<li>Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to support production line efficiency and minimise downtime</li>\n<li>Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety standards are met</li>\n<li>Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide technical expertise to enhance productivity</li>\n<li>Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory</li>\n<li>Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures</li>\n<li>Stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies relevant to the role</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As well as the ability to work at pace, we&#39;re also looking for someone who has:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical engineering, BTEC level 3 in mechanical &amp; electrical/electronic engineering)</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in FMCG industry</li>\n<li>Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and packaging equipment</li>\n<li>Proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of equipment reliability</li>\n<li>A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally IEE qualification up to 18th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n<li>Assertiveness with the ability to make decisions on the spot</li>\n<li>A can do attitude and a strong work ethic</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reward &amp; Benefits</strong></p>\n<p>We&#39;ve highlighted below some of our standard Rewards &amp; Benefits that our colleagues receive.
