The hourly wage for this position is $23.72/hour.

Work hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, but flexibility is required as this position is for back-up coverage. Weekly hours can vary between 0 and 25.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hot meals to senior centers, volunteer drop sites, and individual residences on a predetermined route
• Load delivery vehicle with hot meals and other items
• Maintain records and make reports related to job responsibilities
• Work cooperatively with the meal delivery team and Meals on Wheels office staff
• Keep assigned vehicles clean and orderly, and report required preventative maintenance needs
• Operate vehicles in a defensive and safe manner, abiding by all state, county, and local traffic laws

Requirements:

• High School Graduation or equivalent
• One year of work experience demonstrating job-related skills
• Must have, or be able to obtain, Utah County Food Handlers Permit
• Ability to drive a Ford F150 truck with limited visibility
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with senior clientele
• Possess knowledge and ability in locating residential and commercial addresses
• Ability to walk distances between delivery vehicle and drop-off locations
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
