Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

What we're looking for:

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality, personal care to our residents. You will also be responsible for inspiring, developing, and nurturing the team to be their best every day.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit
• Supporting with clinical duties, including supporting the nurse to observe, issue medication, review care plans, and accurate record keeping
• Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers of the teams

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents
• Assist chefs with plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and maintaining cleanliness in preparation areas
• Monitor stock rotation and adhere to company policies and procedures, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines

Requirements:
