We are seeking a talented individual to join our Electronic Trading Summer Associate Program at Barclays. As a summer intern, you will dive into our culture, engage in real projects, and gain a comprehensive business overview.
\nThe purpose of this role is to bring quantitative and analytical expertise to bear across the full spectrum of our Markets and Risk businesses. You will play an important role in the design and development of risk management and trading strategies, through the use of quantitative analysis, mathematical modelling, and technology.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\nAs an Assistant Vice President, you will be expected to advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
\nWe value resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit, which might be showcased through your involvement in extracurricular activities.
\nThe ideal candidate will have mathematical and programming skills (ideally in Java, C++, or Python), a keen interest in business and finance, and a curiosity to learn.
