As a Front End Pharmacy Technician with Omnicare, you will perform order entry tasks and collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process at our closed-door pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

• Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions
• Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely returns
• Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other flagged items
• Create and maintain accurate customer records

Requirements:

• Certification/licensure/registration as a pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• PTCB National Certification

Pay Range: $17.00 - $31.30 per hour
