You will work alongside experienced professionals, developing practical skills and playing an active role in bringing creative ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop ideas and stories by researching content and finding guests and participants.
• Gain real-life experience by assisting your team on location, in the studio, or in a television gallery, and helping in the studio.
• Learn how to use technical tools and specialized software by supporting teams with cameras, sound, lighting, and editing.
• Create content for multiple platforms, including social media, under the guidance of experienced professionals.

You will study for your recognized apprenticeship qualification, learning on-the-job and off-the-job.

Requirements:

• Be 18 years old or over by September 2027
• Have lived in the UK continuously for the past three years
• Be legally qualified to work full-time in the United Kingdom for the entire duration of the apprenticeship
• Not be currently registered on another apprenticeship program supported by the BBC or another organization

Desirable skills and experience:

• Passionate and curious about content, production, and the BBC
• Full of new ideas and fresh perspectives on BBC content
• A great team player who can handle unexpected challenges
• Flexible and able to adapt to work to help deliver content
