As a values-driven organisation, integrity, collaboration, agility, and inclusion are at the heart of how we work and interact with each other, customers, patients and suppliers.</p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work with in-house client managers and freelance linguists/suppliers to fulfill translation project scopes. They will contract with linguists from all over the world, monitor quality and budgets, and handle document formatting. This is a non-client facing role and can be performed remotely from any location in Colombia.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Independently manage small to mid-sized translation projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.</li>\n<li>Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients, gathering project requirements, ensuring smooth project initiation, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.</li>\n<li>Define project tasks, monitor progress, track milestones, and proactively manage risks, escalating when necessary.</li>\n<li>Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and communication.</li>\n<li>Contribute to internal and client-facing reporting, performance tracking, and issue resolution.</li>\n<li>Supports quality control activities within project workflows, including adherence to quality standards, review processes, and documentation requirements to ensure deliverables meet client and regulatory expectations.</li>\n<li>Participates in quality investigations, applying methodologies such as 5 Whys or Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify causes of issues and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).</li>\n<li>Assist in evaluating and adopting automation and technology-driven solutions to improve project efficiency and quality.</li>\n<li>Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, client landscapes, and regulatory considerations relevant to language services in the life sciences sector.</li>\n<li>Support cross-functional collaboration and help grow ICON&#39;s Language Services offering through relationship-building and operational integration.</li>\n<li>Share expertise and contribute to the training and mentoring of junior staff.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-3 years of experience in project management within translation, localization, or language services.</li>\n<li>Experience with Life Sciences translation projects (pharmaceutical, medical device, clinical, or biotech) a plus.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in CAT tools, translation management systems, and project tracking software.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other document formats (e.g., PDFs, XML, PowerPoint).</li>\n<li>Attention to detail and advanced Microsoft Word skills required.</li>\n<li>Any type of project management or coordination experience is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Rewards &amp; Benefits:</strong></p>\n<p>ICON offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your health, wellbeing, and career development.
