05a7b2c0-028 Protection and MHPSS Area Coordination Assistant IOM is seeking a Protection and MHPSS Area Coordination Assistant to support the implementation and monitoring of MHPSS and protection activities at the cantonal level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating case management mechanisms with Protection and MHPSS Assistants and field staff
  • Liaising with other agencies and key actors to mainstream protection and MHPSS activities
  • Participating in sector meetings and working groups
  • Ensuring service mapping and conducting regular participatory assessments
  • Assisting in identifying gaps and needs in service provision for vulnerable migrants
  • Preparing informative materials and presentations
  • Coordinating daily work assignments and administering leave and other entitlements of Protection and MHPSS Assistants

The position requires a university degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, or a related field, with two years of relevant professional experience.

Fluency in English and one of the three official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian languages) is required.
