Responsibilities:

• Collecting and delivering items of equipment to and from the village as required using company vehicles
• Carrying out scheduled checks on company vehicles, ensuring all documentation is in order and that vehicles are cleaned and have an adequate supply of fuel
• Reporting any vehicle defects and investigating and documenting the findings as required
• Completing journey logs after each use and monitoring Tax and MOT expiry dates, informing the Administrator near due dates
• Ensuring vehicles are locked and that alarms are activated when parking

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Experience in a customer-focused environment
• Polite and courteous with a can-do approach to your work
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with people
• First aid trained with previous experience driving groups of people, using wheelchair restraint systems and vehicle tail-lifts would be advantageous
