YubHub-native raw fields carry `x-` prefix.","jobs":[{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","identifier":{"@type":"PropertyValue","name":"YubHub","value":"job_4a072b77-1b7"},"title":"Staff Product Security Engineer","description":"<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>\n<p>As a Staff Product Security Engineer at Airwallex, you will be a trusted member of the Information Security team and work closely with Infrastructure, Product and Engineering teams across the business.</p>\n<p>Reporting directly to the Product Security Engineering Manager, this role will see you being a critical part of Airwallex, helping to identify, protect, detect, respond and recover the organisation from cybersecurity threats.</p>\n<p>This is a dynamic and hands-on role that requires experience in designing, developing and managing infrastructure projects, processes and standards related to the security of our networks, systems and applications.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and build security controls that strengthen Airwallex’s ability to scale securely.</li>\n<li>Design and deliver security improvements across applications, software, and services.</li>\n<li>Develop and operationalise detection strategies and response workflows that improve the speed and effectiveness of incident response.</li>\n<li>Build and enhance secure systems through strong integration, testing, operations, and maintenance practices.</li>\n<li>Leverage and analyse endpoint, network, and cloud telemetry to identify, investigate, and mitigate threats.</li>\n<li>Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure that improves resilience across the Airwallex environment.</li>\n<li>Investigate, contain, and respond to cybersecurity incidents to reduce risk and strengthen defensive capability.</li>\n<li>Assess and improve system and network security by identifying vulnerabilities, configuration issues, and remediation opportunities.</li>\n<li>Collect and analyse threat intelligence and forensic evidence to better understand, track, and disrupt threats.</li>\n<li>Conduct and support defensive operations, tactical forensics, and threat hunting to strengthen security outcomes.</li>\n<li>Partner with teams across Airwallex to embed security into new and existing applications, software, and services and drive continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>8+ years working in a security engineering or incident response role within a tech company</li>\n<li>In-depth expertise with at least one major cloud platform</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of common software development tools and infrastructure, including CI/CD tooling and pipelines</li>\n<li>Comprehensive understanding of common attacker tools and techniques, how they can be detected and prevented, and ability to respond to incidents with high depth and quality of investigation</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical security and software concepts to a non-technical audience</li>\n<li>A passion for solving the complex challenges of high-growth startups</li>\n<li>Self-motivation and drive to learn new skills, or dive deeper into existing skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or similar</li>\n<li>Recognised training or cybersecurity certifications (e.g. OSCP, GIAC, CEH)</li>\n<li>Strong experience with Splunk and other common security monitoring tools</li>\n<li>Past DevOps/SRE experience with Kubernetes</li>\n<li>Experience with GCP or Alibaba Cloud (with or without certification)</li>\n<li>Experience with Okta, GSuite, and cloud-based VPN services</li>\n<li>Experience with Python, Java/Kotlin</li>\n<li>Published articles, journals or blogs related to cybersecurity</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top:24px;font-size:13px;color:#666;\">XML job scraping automation by <a href=\"https://yubhub.co\">YubHub</a></p>","url":"https://yubhub.co/jobs/job_4a072b77-1b7/","directApply":true,"hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Airwallex","sameAs":"https://www.airwallex.com/","logo":"https://logos.yubhub.co/airwallex.com.png"},"x-apply-url":"https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/airwallex/f77a698d-b8f1-481a-8827-eb2262acc177?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply","x-work-arrangement":null,"x-experience-level":"staff","x-job-type":"Full time","x-salary-range":null,"x-skills-required":["cloud platforms","CI/CD tooling","security engineering","incident response","threat intelligence"],"x-skills-preferred":["Splunk","Kubernetes","GCP","Alibaba Cloud","Okta","GSuite","Python","Java/Kotlin"],"datePosted":"2026-10-25T21:26:10.062Z","jobLocation":{"@type":"Place","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressLocality":"AU - Melbourne;
