Main duties of the job:

• Provide individualized quality patient care to Homecare patients in their home setting.
• Administer prescribed IV therapies and associated care and support to patients who are unable to be trained to independence.
• Provide training and education to support patients/carers in the connection and disconnection of Parenteral Nutrition/to use infusion devices and any other prescribed therapies to independence.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Competent in the management and delivery of IV Therapies.
• Ability to work alone.
• Ability to make decisions in a clinical emergency situation.
• Current valid driving license and your own car to travel to patients' homes.
• Flexibility to travel and visit patients outside local area.

Hours of work:

• Monday to Sunday, with split shifts (4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening).

Salary:

• £30 per hour
