Responsibilities:

• Create and define a Technological Roadmap for pre-assigned clients, focusing on HPE Networking priority areas.
• Develop and document technology solutions and proposals designed to meet customer business requirements.
• Implement and support customer Proof of Concept engagements.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive solution offerings.
• Interface with internal and external experts to anticipate customer needs.
• Participate in proposal development and support technical aspects related to deal closure.
• Understand the HPE channel and create relationships with HPE partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or significant experience in networking technical and pre-sales activities.
• Minimum of 4+ years of technical professional, pre-sales/post-sales experience.
• Extensive experience in Networking, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, security, SASE, and Network Management platforms.
• Specific Networking certifications (HPE, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, etc.).
• Experience in Network Access Security.
• Effective communication and customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales technical engagements, including solution design, architecture, and positioning of networking and security solutions
• Partner closely with sales teams, customers, and ecosystem partners to align technical strategies with business outcomes
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements to validate solutions
• Develop and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, building compelling and competitive proposals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer technical stakeholders and decision-makers
• Provide enablement, training, and technical guidance to partners and customer engineering teams
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to effectively position solutions

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role (Sales Engineer / Systems Engineer)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Juniper & Networking Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper/Aruba networking solutions across routing, switching, and/or security domains
• Deep expertise in enterprise networking, including:
• Wireless and Campus Switching
• SD-WAN technologies (MPLS, traffic engineering concepts)
• Campus networking (EVPN/VXLAN, fabric architectures)
• Network security principles and solutions (NGFW, IPSec, DDoS protection, etc.)

Solution Design & Customer Engagement

• Proven experience designing and consulting on network architectures, including bill of materials and implementation strategies
• Experience operating and implementing enterprise-scale campus and branch architectures
• Strong customer-facing experience, including technical presentations, whiteboarding, and executive-level engagement
• Experience supporting pre-sales cycles including solution positioning, proposal development, and competitive differentiation
