This position is part of the on-site C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program maintenance team supporting the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) C-17 aircraft.

The successful candidate will participate in organisational level maintenance activities, such as flight line tasks including aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis, and component replacement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the assembly, disassembly, and modification of systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
• Direct troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems
• Oversee validation and verification testing of systems and components
• Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements
• Lead and supervise others to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle
• Provide training and mentor others

Requirements:

• 5+ years of C-17 maintenance experience
• Current or ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
• Ability to obtain a work visa depending on requirements of the country

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in avionics systems
