In this role, you'll:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions
• Ensure the funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming, both inside and out
• Work with digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements, and invoicing
• Support the manual handling of coffins and assist in the care and preparation of the deceased
• Update client management applications with accurate and timely information

You'll need:

• Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with clients and colleagues
• Basic maths skills for tasks like cash handling and invoicing
• Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to adhere to regulatory policies and processes
• Good IT skills, with the ability to use a range of technology devices and systems
• A passion for delivering great service and building relationships
• High levels of empathy, discretion, and care
• Physical ability to carry out tasks like moving coffins
