Intern","description":"<p>The pay range per hour is $28.50- $29.50.</p>\n<p>As a Stores Executive Intern at Target, you will be part of a paid 40 hr/week, hands-on training program to develop and prepare you for store leadership.</p>\n<p>You will work closely with other managers and team members to develop an understanding of how Target&#39;s retail business works and what it takes to excel in a management role.</p>\n<p>Your responsibilities will include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learning how to drive guest experience and impact your store&#39;s financial, team, and operational performance</li>\n<li>Working alongside a mentor and learning how they effectively lead their department within the store</li>\n<li>Stepping into leading your mentor&#39;s departments</li>\n<li>Spending your days learning to lead and motivate a team, drive sales results, merchandise products, and provide an exceptional experience for guests</li>\n<li>Having ongoing development conversations with your mentor</li>\n<li>Leading and supporting the execution of daily operations by working with your team members to build culture and guide your team to grow and achieve goals</li>\n</ul>\n<p>You will also be expected to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spend time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading team members and aligning the team on daily business priorities</li>\n<li>Work alongside your Executive Team Lead (ETL) mentor and other leaders in the building to gain an understanding of their roles</li>\n<li>Lead through daily priorities</li>\n<li>Partner with leaders regarding team member performance</li>\n<li>Address team member concerns and remove hurdles to ensure smooth operations and goal attainment</li>\n<li>Lead/present at daily huddles with peer/leadership team</li>\n<li>Plan daily goals and organize plans within the building</li>\n<li>Provide a summary of results and priorities with peer/leadership team</li>\n<li>Review business reporting and guest insights to understand, troubleshoot, and follow up on opportunity areas</li>\n<li>Deliver an exceptional guest experience</li>\n<li>Provide new ideas and recommend solutions to business or team opportunities</li>\n<li>Take the initiative to learn how to be a Target leader</li>\n<li>Commit to learning Target&#39;s expectations of leaders and use them to personally develop</li>\n<li>Actively participate in internship program training activities, developmental opportunities, and events</li>\n<li>Demonstrate a willingness to take strategic risks and take on new assignments</li>\n<li>Foster an inclusive, equitable, safe, and secure culture</li>\n<li>Carry out principal duties and responsibilities by the department</li>\n<li>Gain an understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen</li>\n<li>Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests</li>\n<li>Engage with specifically within our stores in management</li>\n<li>Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking</li>\n<li>Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>\n<li>Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently</li>\n<li>Welcoming and helpful attitude</li>\n<li>Effective communication
