<p>We are seeking an Onsen Receptionist to lead the delivery of a high-quality, memorable Onsen experience aligned with Princess brand standards. The role focuses on exceptional guest service, operational excellence, and revenue maximization, while fostering a positive, professional, and guest-focused environment.</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver a warm, professional welcome to every guest.</li>
<li>Manage all Onsen bookings, appointments, and checkout procedures.</li>
<li>Engage in genuine conversations, listening with empathy, and anticipating guest needs.</li>
<li>Ensure the Onsen environment is maintained to the highest cleanliness and safety standards.</li>
<li>Oversee day-to-day operations of the Izumi Onsen areas.</li>
<li>Monitor voyage performance and adjust to meet revenue goals.</li>
<li>Manage marketing, promotional activities, and brand-aligned messaging.</li>
<li>Support inventory control, audit follow-up, and financial accuracy.</li>
<li>Supervise Onsen Attendants and foster a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free workplace.</li>
<li>Lead by example and instill our Corporate Culture Essentials.</li>
<li>Drive continuous improvement and support change initiatives.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with onboard and shoreside teams to share insights and best practices.</li>
<li>Uphold all Hotel, Environmental, and HESS-MS procedures.</li>
<li>Complete HESS logs and support outbreak response requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of public health standards (USPH, WHO, etc.).</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience: Strong guest service background in spa, wellness, or premium hospitality settings.</li>
<li>Language Skills: Basic English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are highly desirable due to the guest demographic.</li>
<li>Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service and cultural sensitivity.</li>
<li>Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team and adapt to dynamic operational needs.</li>
<li>Professionalism: High standards of personal grooming, punctuality, and conduct.</li>
<li>Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in accordance with shipboard schedules.</li>
<li>Compliance: Strong sales mindset and ability to support revenue achievement.</li>
<li>Cultural Sensitivity: The Onsen is a traditional Japanese bathing experience that may involve nudity in gender-separated areas. Candidates must be comfortable working in this environment and demonstrate discretion and professionalism at all times.</li>
