The role focuses on exceptional guest service, operational excellence, and revenue maximization, while fostering a positive, professional, and guest-focused environment.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver a warm, professional welcome to every guest.</li>\n<li>Manage all Onsen bookings, appointments, and checkout procedures.</li>\n<li>Engage in genuine conversations, listening with empathy, and anticipating guest needs.</li>\n<li>Ensure the Onsen environment is maintained to the highest cleanliness and safety standards.</li>\n<li>Oversee day-to-day operations of the Izumi Onsen areas.</li>\n<li>Monitor voyage performance and adjust to meet revenue goals.</li>\n<li>Manage marketing, promotional activities, and brand-aligned messaging.</li>\n<li>Support inventory control, audit follow-up, and financial accuracy.</li>\n<li>Supervise Onsen Attendants and foster a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free workplace.</li>\n<li>Lead by example and instill our Corporate Culture Essentials.</li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement and support change initiatives.</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with onboard and shoreside teams to share insights and best practices.</li>\n<li>Uphold all Hotel, Environmental, and HESS-MS procedures.</li>\n<li>Complete HESS logs and support outbreak response requirements.</li>\n<li>Maintain knowledge of public health standards (USPH, WHO, etc.).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience: Strong guest service background in spa, wellness, or premium hospitality settings.</li>\n<li>Language Skills: Basic English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are highly desirable due to the guest demographic.</li>\n<li>Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service and cultural sensitivity.</li>\n<li>Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team and adapt to dynamic operational needs.</li>\n<li>Professionalism: High standards of personal grooming, punctuality, and conduct.</li>\n<li>Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in accordance with shipboard schedules.</li>\n<li>Compliance: Strong sales mindset and ability to support revenue achievement.</li>\n<li>Cultural Sensitivity: The Onsen is a traditional Japanese bathing experience that may involve nudity in gender-separated areas.
